About
Dr. Laarni Domantay
Dr. Laarni Domantay is a Family Physician with strong roots in Southern California. She grew up in Eagle Rock, and even lived in Burbank for a brief period. Prior to receiving her B.S. in Biological Sciences and her Medical Degree in 1999 at University of California at Irvine, College of Medicine, she worked as a phlebotomist and as an occupational therapist aide. Her multitude of experiences has taught her to be attuned to her patients’ needs in a calm and caring manner.
Dr. Domantay joined Dr. N. Arr Alinsod’s practice after finishing her residency in Family Practice at Glendale Adventist Medical Center. Her interests include women’s health and cultural medicine. She has published an article regarding cultural medicine in California Family Physician and speaks fluent Spanish and Tagalog. She especially enjoys outreach during the community health screenings and is looking forward to working with the local community. Having a commitment to family health can best describe Dr. Domantay.
Dr. Domantay is married and is the proud mother of two daughters and a son. In her spare time, she enjoys Polynesian dancing, sewing, volleyball, and “mommy and Me’ activities. She integrates in heart, mind and experience, the meaning of “family” and “medicine.”
